Short version: some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through to a finance provider and end up taking out an agreement with them, they pay us a commission. That's the whole business model.
What that means for you
- It costs you nothing. The rate and terms you get from the lender are identical whether you arrive via our link or by typing their name into Google.
- We don't see your application. You apply directly with the lender or broker on their own site. We never handle your personal or financial details.
- Commission doesn't set the order. We link to providers we'd genuinely point a mate at, particularly ones that soft-search first and consider first-time drivers.
What we are and aren't
MonthlyMotor is a content and comparison website. We are not a lender and we do not arrange or broker credit. We don't recommend specific financial products for your circumstances, and nothing on this site is financial advice. Our calculator produces illustrative figures only. Your actual rate and payment are set by the lender based on your credit profile.
The boring-but-important bits
- All finance is subject to status, income and affordability checks, and you must be 18 or over.
- Representative APRs mean at least 51% of accepted applicants receive that rate. Yours may be higher.
- Your vehicle may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on a finance agreement secured against it.
- If you're struggling with existing debt, free help exists: StepChange and Citizens Advice are good places to start.
